The International Service Committee is responsible for all
the club's international service activities that advance international
understanding, goodwill and peace.
Its projects are designed to meet humanitarian needs of people
in countries other than the club's host country. Such projects
are often carried out in collaboration with sister clubs with
whom Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja has signed corresponding
agreements.
The International Service Committee's functions include:
- Encouraging members to participate in Rotary International
Annual Conventions.
- Maintaining close relationship with sister clubs via
joint projects and fellowships.
- Promoting the Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF) and Every
Rotarian Every Year (EREY) programmes of The Rotary Foundation.
- During World Understanding Month, the organising of activities
and programmes which promote world understanding and peace.
