Ice cream to the Paediatrics Oncology Ward,
KL General Hospital on 18th Aug. 2005

Spastics Centre on Thursday 22 September 2005 - the presentation of the
Bobath Neurology Couch. In addition, the Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur Diraja
and the IWCKL jointly donated 4 wheel chairs to the Centre.

Visit from District Chairman, Datin Dr Joges Pathmakanthan on 6th October 2005.
Alzheimers Disease Foundation Malaysia – 6th October 2005.
Our Honorary Member To’ Puan Dato Dr Aishah Ong as the Founding Member
and Trustee of the Foundation received the cheque on behalf of the Foundation.

English Literacy Campaign - launched on 17 November 2005. This is a joint community service project by the Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja and the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur. On the 18th January 2006 (Wednesday) some of the English Literacy Audio sets were presented to children of several homes by
the Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaya at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Our Club visited Kelantan to distribute audio sets to 34 schools in Kelantan.

The Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, Cheras (Retired nuns)
– an early Christmas party on 24 Nov. 2005

Christmas Carnival at One Utama Shopping Centre - 9 to 11 December 2005.
We managed to raise some money from the charity sales.

Scholarship Project - cheque presentation to some students on 5th January 2006

Presentation of 3 commode wheelchairs to the Spinal Ward of KL General Hospital,
during the general meeting on 4th May 2006.

Malaysian Mental Health Association - Our members visited the Home on 18th May 2006,
to hand over some baking equipment (consisting of an oven, mixer and
other baking utensils) and a table-tennis table.

Visit to the Islamic Arts Museum-cum the 3rd General Meeting on 1 September 2005.

Festive Fellowships

The Deepavali/Hari Raya Fellowship cum 5th General Meeting on the 17 November 2005 at the Istana Munarah, Seremban, the residence of our member Tengku Dato’ Rohani. After the gathering, a coach load of ladies proceeded to Malacca for a fun-filled trip.

Christmas Party at Michelline Jess’ residence on Wednesday 7 December.

The Chinese New Year Fellowship and lunch on 9 Feb. 2006, at the Maju Palace Restaurant, Maju Junction, Kuala Lumpur. It coincided with our 7th General Meeting.

Vasakhi lunch was hosted by our Sikh members, on 22nd April 2006.
